I am grateful for a new year, with a fresh start! The year 2011 brought a lot of experiences in my life that has made me change the way I look at life, and I have truly grown from my challenges and spiritual experiences that I have had. I'm grateful for all of my trials and happy moments! I want to be able to think of ways to be happy EVERY SINGLE DAY! Life is too short to spend it being sad or down. I'm no blogger, so I hope that my desire to do this everyday will continue. I know that if we stay positive, and look up in life, anything negative will become a positive experience! With that said..........Let's Smile!

SMILE #187 Blond Highlights....aka Yellow String

I had a good laugh last night when my grandma visiting from out of town, was talking to me, and she stops mid sentence, and said..."Janine, what is that yellow string in your hair?"  I was taken back, and then proceeded to put my hands through my hair only to find nothing in my hair.  I was confused for a second, but then I realized that she was talking about the blond highlights I have in my hair.  They were really noticeable, because I did my hair curly that day, and it was a thick strand of just blond highlight standing out! 


So I laughed, and told her that it's just hair dye, and that I had colored my hair!  She just looked at my with a disappointed look on her face and said...."You kids are crazy!"  


Gotta love the old fashioned grandmas!  She one of them, but I love her, and she's great!  
What a way to make me smile and laugh though!  Hope it lightened your day a bit too!
