I am grateful for a new year, with a fresh start! The year 2011 brought a lot of experiences in my life that has made me change the way I look at life, and I have truly grown from my challenges and spiritual experiences that I have had. I'm grateful for all of my trials and happy moments! I want to be able to think of ways to be happy EVERY SINGLE DAY! Life is too short to spend it being sad or down. I'm no blogger, so I hope that my desire to do this everyday will continue. I know that if we stay positive, and look up in life, anything negative will become a positive experience! With that said..........Let's Smile!

SMILE #153 Last Day of School

YAY!!!  Last day of school for my kiddo's! .......You can't see my big smile on my face!.......It's been a fairly decent school year.  We have for sure had some some bumps on the road with my son's 1st grade teacher, but I'm grateful to say that we worked through them, and I feel that my son did get the education he needed.  He LOVES math, and is really doing well in his reading......we are still trying to find the love for it though!  He loves learning about all kinds of animals and creature life.  It's so fun to hear him talk about all the different kinds of animals!


My preschooler, had a great year of doing a Joy School type of program with a few other mom's in the neighborhood!  He has become great friends with his other classmates.  I don't know how much he learned to prepare him for the vocational part of kindergarten, but he learned many skills that will help him in the social aspect of life at school next year.  I was able to help him though, start a reading program, and he's already reading in the 1st level book......."the Brown book", and he's so happy about that!  He's a good little reader!


Bring on summer!  It's going to be a busy full one!  But I look forward to the time I will get to spend with my kids doing all of those things that are planned!  Swimming, trips to see cousins, going to the movies, parks, family vacations, camping.....etc.
