I am grateful for a new year, with a fresh start! The year 2011 brought a lot of experiences in my life that has made me change the way I look at life, and I have truly grown from my challenges and spiritual experiences that I have had. I'm grateful for all of my trials and happy moments! I want to be able to think of ways to be happy EVERY SINGLE DAY! Life is too short to spend it being sad or down. I'm no blogger, so I hope that my desire to do this everyday will continue. I know that if we stay positive, and look up in life, anything negative will become a positive experience! With that said..........Let's Smile!

SMILE #152 Micaela

I smile today, because 2 years ago, I gave birth to this beautiful baby girl, Micaela.  She has been such a delight in my life, as well as a challenge!  She has made me smile, everyday for the past 2 years, with her smiles, expression and giggles!  I still recall the time she was born.  It was quite an ordeal and a story of it's own, but we almost lost her, and for that reason, I smile even more, because it makes me realize how precious life really is!  


I love her smile, and her excitement about her "fav's", such as Veggie Tales, Super Why, her blankie, and when it's time for a nap or bed time, she is full of glee, because she loves it so much!  I smile, because I finally got a little girl, and I can dress her up in fun cute girly clothes, do cute hair-do's, (as far as my talent will allow), buy cute shoes and accessories!  I smile because she inherited my brown eyes, and my brown curly/wavy hair!  


I love her so much!  And I'm soooo grateful that Heavenly Father trusts my husband and I enough to raise one of his daughters!  I pray everyday, that I will do my best, and raise her up to be a righteous daughter of God, and teach her the standards that will lead her to eternal life.
