1. I think the 1st and only time that I've actually been to the Conference Center to watch it, was when my hubby asked me out on one of our first dates to go and watch! It's a great memory, and i'll not forget it! After the devotional, we even walked around temple square to look at all the lights! It was a great night!
2. My boys willingly sat down to watch it with me! It was fun to cuddle with my 2 buddies, and they listened intently! It was great! They asked so many questions, about the 1st presidency and about the gospel, and my oldest even referred back to something that was shown from last years devotional! I was so impressed that he remembered!
3. I LOVE listening to the 1st presidency! Pres. Uchtdorf's talk really made me so excited for a fun family Christmas tradition, that we do every year, since I can remember...as a young girl! Giving gifts to our family from the heart.....which means homemade! It's something we still do, and we all love it! Pres. Monson, always know's how to bring on the spirit with a smile! He's a wonderful inspired prophet of God, and I'm grateful to be living during his time of service!
