I am grateful for a new year, with a fresh start! The year 2011 brought a lot of experiences in my life that has made me change the way I look at life, and I have truly grown from my challenges and spiritual experiences that I have had. I'm grateful for all of my trials and happy moments! I want to be able to think of ways to be happy EVERY SINGLE DAY! Life is too short to spend it being sad or down. I'm no blogger, so I hope that my desire to do this everyday will continue. I know that if we stay positive, and look up in life, anything negative will become a positive experience! With that said..........Let's Smile!

SMILE #117 The Book of Mormon


Just a few days ago, our family for the first time finished reading The Book of Mormon all together as  a family.  It was so fun to help the kids realize what a big accomplishment it was!   To help celebrate, after we read our last page, I asked the kids what they learned from The Book of Mormon.  Both of their answers were pretty  similar, ...."That Heavenly Father wants us to be happy, and is sad when we fight!"  I loved that answer, it put a smile on my face.

After their answers, I decided to bring up a tradition my family did, and that was go out to dinner as a family.  It's not something we do very often, so they were very excited, we even got to go get ice cream afterwards!

If you have not read this book at all, or all the way through, I encourage you to do it!  It's the most amazing book on earth, and EVERYONE should read it, because it will make you smile! :)
