I am grateful for a new year, with a fresh start! The year 2011 brought a lot of experiences in my life that has made me change the way I look at life, and I have truly grown from my challenges and spiritual experiences that I have had. I'm grateful for all of my trials and happy moments! I want to be able to think of ways to be happy EVERY SINGLE DAY! Life is too short to spend it being sad or down. I'm no blogger, so I hope that my desire to do this everyday will continue. I know that if we stay positive, and look up in life, anything negative will become a positive experience! With that said..........Let's Smile!

SMILE #23 Monday's

I was driving early this morning, coming home from the gym and on the radio the voice on the other side, was complaining that he couldn't think because it was too early, and it was Monday!  And instantly the thought came to my head...."why?  Monday's are great!"  I realized that I love Monday's and it makes me smile, and here is why....

  1. Every Monday, I wake up at 4:45 AM to go to a wonderful body combat class that wakes me up, and makes me feels so exhausted afterwards, but yet, I feel so good!
  2. I take time to read my scriptures, and it makes my Monday bright!
  3. I then send off my husband to work, and my son to school!  I love that my husband supports his family and works very hard for us, so that I can stay home with my children.  And I love that my son has a safe school, where he is learning and preparing for his future.
  4. Monday brings a fresh start to my week, I can start over again with whatever I failed to do from the previous week!  I also get to do laundry and start the week with a fresh pile of clean laundry!
  5. Finally, the last thing I do on Monday's that makes me smile is Family Night!  Every Monday, we take time as a family to play games together, and learn a gospel principle!  No matter how busy our life gets, we always take time for Family Night! (the kids never let us forget!)

And that is why I smile!  It's Monday!  Have a fresh outlook on this glorious day, and share a smile with someone else who thinks it's a gloomy day!
