I am grateful for a new year, with a fresh start! The year 2011 brought a lot of experiences in my life that has made me change the way I look at life, and I have truly grown from my challenges and spiritual experiences that I have had. I'm grateful for all of my trials and happy moments! I want to be able to think of ways to be happy EVERY SINGLE DAY! Life is too short to spend it being sad or down. I'm no blogger, so I hope that my desire to do this everyday will continue. I know that if we stay positive, and look up in life, anything negative will become a positive experience! With that said..........Let's Smile!

SMILE #22 Kid's say the darndest things!

I smile, when my children, (or any other children for that matter) say something that is just so funny!  Kid's are very honest.  They will say what they are thinking when they are thinking it!  My niece wrote the cutest letter the other day, to a lady in their neighborhood, who had fallen, and hurt her hip!  This was her reply!.......

While visiting with my family at my parents house a while back, my son was walking down the hall, trying to get my attention and say my name, but instead this is what was said....."grandma?......aunt Camille?.........aaahhhh, why do I say these things?!" and then he just walked away!  It was so funny!  I laughed with that one!

What has your child said that just is too funny, and made you smile?

  1. Hey Janine, this is so true. I love when our daughter says funny things. She saw our Christmas family picture on our computer and pointed to my hair. She said it was dark and that I needed to get my highlights done again. Then she pointed at Ryan's head and said his hair was gray and that he needed to dye it again. Ha ha...also, today, she was reading her book of mormon to her dolls and the first thing she said to them was "it came to pass..." Funny that she would recognize how many times we say "it came to pass." She is only three, that's just too funny.
