I am grateful for a new year, with a fresh start! The year 2011 brought a lot of experiences in my life that has made me change the way I look at life, and I have truly grown from my challenges and spiritual experiences that I have had. I'm grateful for all of my trials and happy moments! I want to be able to think of ways to be happy EVERY SINGLE DAY! Life is too short to spend it being sad or down. I'm no blogger, so I hope that my desire to do this everyday will continue. I know that if we stay positive, and look up in life, anything negative will become a positive experience! With that said..........Let's Smile!

SMILE #17 Craft Projects


Doing a craft project every now and then is good for the soul!  And it makes me smile!  I love to be able to sit down, and create something, either what I found on the internet and copied, or thought of it on my own!  Today I am doing nothing but that!  I was asked to put together 50 wooden plaques, painting, and doing the modge podge thing!  It's a lot of time and work, but i'm enjoying it!  I'm catching up on some movies I've wanted to watch, and getting to have fun workin' on a project as well!


I have to say though, the craft type i'm most passionate about it is, sewing. I love it!  I started learning when I was in high school, and never really stopped!  I've created a lot of fun, cute, and beautiful blankets, clothing (that part i'm still getting the hang of it!), and baby accessories.  


Other projects I like to do is, scrap-booking, card-making, flower hair bows,  and doing little crafts with the kiddo's!
