I am grateful for a new year, with a fresh start! The year 2011 brought a lot of experiences in my life that has made me change the way I look at life, and I have truly grown from my challenges and spiritual experiences that I have had. I'm grateful for all of my trials and happy moments! I want to be able to think of ways to be happy EVERY SINGLE DAY! Life is too short to spend it being sad or down. I'm no blogger, so I hope that my desire to do this everyday will continue. I know that if we stay positive, and look up in life, anything negative will become a positive experience! With that said..........Let's Smile!

SMILE #314 Walking Home From School

My boy's walked home from school today, in the snow.....rain, and they smiled about it!  Here's why.....last Friday, I was a little late picking them up from school, and they had started walking home.  When I found them almost halfway home, they said they really wanted to walk home.  Well, I had other things to do, so it wasn't going to work out for that day, but they made up a plan to walk home every other Friday!....I loved the every OTHER!  So today was the day for them to walk home!  For the past few days, they have been asking if it was Friday yet!  They have been so excited!  So I let them do it in the rain!  But they made it, and said they enjoyed it, but that they were cold, and needed hot chocolate!......Can't argue with that!  It put a smile one my face too!
