Yesterday and today, has been a lot of setting up for the Halloween season approaching! The kids just loved putting everything up! They even made cute little paper spiders to hang on the ceiling. (something he learned at school!) Now we have several black spiders hanging on my ceiling! :}
I also let the kids try on their costumes! They have been waiting almost a year to wear them! We found them at the after Halloween sale at target for 75% off last year! I still can't believe I found these, matching and in the right sizes! I only spent $30 for all of their costumes! Crazy, because the darth vador costume alone was originally $40! Not pictured is my little girl! She was napping, but she's going to be princess leia. Here is what the costume looks like though!
Also this morning, I spent over 2 hours decorating a room at my kids school, to prepare for their school's Fall Carnival! I was in charge of the Spider Toss Game! It took quite a bit of work, but it really looked good at the end, and I think the kids will enjoy it! But a huge thanks to my little sis, who helped me decorate, because it surely was not a one man job! Thanks Becca!
All of these things make me smile! It's fun to include my kids in things I have to do. I know that it will be special memories for them in the future!
