I am grateful for a new year, with a fresh start! The year 2011 brought a lot of experiences in my life that has made me change the way I look at life, and I have truly grown from my challenges and spiritual experiences that I have had. I'm grateful for all of my trials and happy moments! I want to be able to think of ways to be happy EVERY SINGLE DAY! Life is too short to spend it being sad or down. I'm no blogger, so I hope that my desire to do this everyday will continue. I know that if we stay positive, and look up in life, anything negative will become a positive experience! With that said..........Let's Smile!

SMILE #276 Strawberries

I bought some strawberries the other day, and there were not quite ripe, so I've had them on my counter the last few days, and my daughter has been begging me to let her eat them!  Well, they finally were good enough to eat, so I cut them up, and set them on the table for dinner tonight.  When my daughter (who is 2!) saw them she gave a nice "Oooooooooo, Strawbeddies"  It was awesome, and every time she wanted more, she would say that phrase!  It was pretty funny!  

But it got me thinking how much I love them as well, and certain memories of strawberries makes me smile!  One memory is a strawberry patch!  Not that it's an old memory, but I love to watch my kids dig through their grandparents strawberry patches!  Both sets of grandparents have a good size strawberry patch, and I love watching the kids come back with red juicy faces, after raiding the patch!  Another memory is the book "The Big Hungry Bear"  If you have not read the book, you should!  It's the greatest!
