I am grateful for a new year, with a fresh start! The year 2011 brought a lot of experiences in my life that has made me change the way I look at life, and I have truly grown from my challenges and spiritual experiences that I have had. I'm grateful for all of my trials and happy moments! I want to be able to think of ways to be happy EVERY SINGLE DAY! Life is too short to spend it being sad or down. I'm no blogger, so I hope that my desire to do this everyday will continue. I know that if we stay positive, and look up in life, anything negative will become a positive experience! With that said..........Let's Smile!

SMILE #181 My Birthday!

  

"It's my birthday, and I'll smile if I want to!!!!"  LOL.  It's been a great day so far, and I just want to thank everyone for all the birthday wishes!  


I have been able to sleep in, go to the gym, went out to lunch with my mom and sister, and then my sister spent a few hours with me cutting out a bunch of stars for a project I've needed done for a while!  What a great service for my birthday!   Next we're off to dinner with the family, and then my most favorite part......Strawberry pie from Marie Callanders!  It's always in season for my birthday, and I've never been much of a cake person, as well as my husband doesn't really do a lot of baking, so for most of my married life, we have made that my yearly birthday treat, and I ALWAYS look forward to it!  




Of course being a mother, I don't get a break from a lot of the normal daily tasks, but that's life, and I have still had a fabulous day!  

We may grow older each year.....but our smile will never die!
