I am grateful for a new year, with a fresh start! The year 2011 brought a lot of experiences in my life that has made me change the way I look at life, and I have truly grown from my challenges and spiritual experiences that I have had. I'm grateful for all of my trials and happy moments! I want to be able to think of ways to be happy EVERY SINGLE DAY! Life is too short to spend it being sad or down. I'm no blogger, so I hope that my desire to do this everyday will continue. I know that if we stay positive, and look up in life, anything negative will become a positive experience! With that said..........Let's Smile!

SMILE #159 Cooper

Today my little, crazy, energetic son cooper turned 5!!!  He's such a joy in my life.  So many times, he'll just look at me and say "Mom, I love you!"  I love it, and he makes me smile!  I love the way he can turn from his mad face, to a smiley face!  He's the wild one out of our family, but we love him, and COULD NOT imagine what life would be like with out our little coop's!  Love ya buddy!

Today was quite an eventful day, (hence the blogging at 8:00 pm!)  I have been into trying the fondant for the cakes I make latley, and I had a big plan for this cake, and this morning I go to color my fondant (that was made yesterday) and it was completly dry!  So I had to start all over again, but alas, it worked, and here's how it turned out!.......Cooper said it was the "coolest" cake in the entire world!  I'm glad it made him smile.  I got the idea off of THIS BLOG.  It was nice to have something to follow, and then I added my own Super Mario figurines to the cake!

He had a blast at his party, with all of his friends and cousins, and I know, even though i'm exhausted, he had a great day, and that can make any tired mother smile! :)
