I am grateful for a new year, with a fresh start! The year 2011 brought a lot of experiences in my life that has made me change the way I look at life, and I have truly grown from my challenges and spiritual experiences that I have had. I'm grateful for all of my trials and happy moments! I want to be able to think of ways to be happy EVERY SINGLE DAY! Life is too short to spend it being sad or down. I'm no blogger, so I hope that my desire to do this everyday will continue. I know that if we stay positive, and look up in life, anything negative will become a positive experience! With that said..........Let's Smile!

SMILE #144 The Castle Park

Some of you will know what I'm talking about when I mention "The Castle Park", it's the coolest park around Davis County!  I remember liking it as a kid, but they've made it even better for my kids!  We went there today for an end of the year preschool activity.  All the kids enjoyed themselves, and didn't want to stop playing! The pictures don't even do the park justice.  There are so many places for the kids to run and hid, and let their imaginations run wild!  So if you are in the area, and want something fun to do, check it out!  Get the address HERE





It's great too, because the park is right next to a great wooded area, where you can take your kids on a nice little hike, there is a small river as well!  

This park has some fun reasons it makes me smile too.  When I was just dating my now wonderful husband, he took me on a date there, but it was in the winter, and we went snow shoeing in the woods!  It was something new and fun for me!  He even planned ahead of time, brought a tarp and some games, and I think hot chocolate, and we played games in the woods, in the snow!  Lots of fun!  Thanks, for that great memory babe!

Sometimes we may find it easier to find the bad in our day, but we need to think of the good, so what made you smile today?

    You will have to take me and the kids there someday. I'm surprised you haven't already! And I"m trying to find the good in my day right now...well it was Jayden. He made me laugh. Thanks for helping me remember. love you
