I am grateful for a new year, with a fresh start! The year 2011 brought a lot of experiences in my life that has made me change the way I look at life, and I have truly grown from my challenges and spiritual experiences that I have had. I'm grateful for all of my trials and happy moments! I want to be able to think of ways to be happy EVERY SINGLE DAY! Life is too short to spend it being sad or down. I'm no blogger, so I hope that my desire to do this everyday will continue. I know that if we stay positive, and look up in life, anything negative will become a positive experience! With that said..........Let's Smile!

SMILE #91 LDS General Conference

I LOVE General Conference!  I just can't seem to get enough of it, the older I get!  I remember as a kid growing up thinking it was so lame!  But it truly makes me smile every time April and October roll around!  


It's not always easy to hear everything when there are little kids in the home, but thank goodness for the internet and printed copies that come out later.


I love to be able to provide my children with fun opportunities to make conference exciting.  They don't last long, but little things for them to color, like coloring the ties of the speakers, or doing a conference bingo makes it a bit more fun, and I find that they really do listen to the words!  I love it when they shout out that someone has just said "Book of Mormon", or "The Prophet Joseph Smith"!


I've said it before, but this gospel truly makes me smile, and I'm grateful to be a member, and honor my covenants that I have made, so that someday, when the time comes, I will be able to return to my Heavenly Father, and live with him, and the rest of my family!

Start thinking about what speakers made you smile!  That will be my smile for tomorrow, and I expect you all to share!
