I am grateful for a new year, with a fresh start! The year 2011 brought a lot of experiences in my life that has made me change the way I look at life, and I have truly grown from my challenges and spiritual experiences that I have had. I'm grateful for all of my trials and happy moments! I want to be able to think of ways to be happy EVERY SINGLE DAY! Life is too short to spend it being sad or down. I'm no blogger, so I hope that my desire to do this everyday will continue. I know that if we stay positive, and look up in life, anything negative will become a positive experience! With that said..........Let's Smile!

SMILE #48 The Birds

I was recently walking downtown SLC, UT, and among the busy life a city brings, I noticed this man, with his briefcase,  and he was just stopped in the middle of the sidewalk and smiling.  I didn't realize why at first, but then I noticed he was watching all the little sparrow's on the ground, hopping around and looking for things to eat.  The man just stood there.....smiling.  I couldn't help but smile too!  I wish I had my camera with me.  It was a beautiful sight.  It just really made me appreciate his smile.




I also couldn't help but think to myself how important it is to stop take a moment and just smile at all the creations that God has given to us on the amazing earth.  Take time.....stop.....and smile!  It's as easy as that!  There are so many things around us, that we should take time to appreciate in this amazing world we live in.


So find something you appreciate today and SMILE!

    I totally pictured Dad in that story!~ Can't you picture him just stopping on a sidewalk smiling at something as similar as Birds!? That made me smile!
