I am grateful for a new year, with a fresh start! The year 2011 brought a lot of experiences in my life that has made me change the way I look at life, and I have truly grown from my challenges and spiritual experiences that I have had. I'm grateful for all of my trials and happy moments! I want to be able to think of ways to be happy EVERY SINGLE DAY! Life is too short to spend it being sad or down. I'm no blogger, so I hope that my desire to do this everyday will continue. I know that if we stay positive, and look up in life, anything negative will become a positive experience! With that said..........Let's Smile!

SMILE #247 Labor Day

Well, to be honest, I don't know a whole lot about why we actually have Labor Day, but I do know that it's a great day to spend with family, and they all have they day off of work!  So I apologize to all of you wonderful history buff's that know the reason's of Labor Day.  Someday you could enlighten me! But today has been a great day, and wanted to share with you some of the things I've been doing.

 I started the day off by sleeping in till 7am!  Lol, yes, that is sleeping in, then we got the whole family ready and traveled to Brigham City, Utah to go visit the newly constructed LDS Temple!  Before it is dedicated they open it up to the public to walk through and actually see inside!  I think it's a wonderful opportunity for everyone to do!  The kids just loved it!  

Then while the hubby did homework and the little one down for a nap, I took the boys to see Madagascar 3!  They were stoked when I told them where we were going!  I totally forgot there was even such a movie, but they seemed to already know so much about it!  Cute movie!

After the movie, we went home to spend the next hour filling up water balloons to take to a family BBQ that we will be going to tonight!  Nothin better than a little water balloon fight at a family party! :)

So those are some of the reason's why I smile on this Labor Day Holiday!
