I had a first today! As a mother of 3, my middle child stole some candy from a store we were at!!! What does this have to do about smiling you ask? I always wondered how I would react to this kind of situation, when it actually happened. Would I be like my mother, and take him back, make him apologize and have him return the candy? Or would I just stick my son in the car, be upset at him, and then quickly bring it back in the store, because i'm in a hurry?........I smile because I finally had the chance to truly teach my son about honesty and stealing, and let him learn first hand how bad it feels to do something wrong. I smile because it's something that everyone goes through, and I handled it the right way, and knowing my son truly felt remorse for what he did. I smile for opportunities to teach my children what is right!
You want to smile?
Tell someone you are sorry for
something you may have done to them.
You'll feel a lot better :)
