I am grateful for a new year, with a fresh start! The year 2011 brought a lot of experiences in my life that has made me change the way I look at life, and I have truly grown from my challenges and spiritual experiences that I have had. I'm grateful for all of my trials and happy moments! I want to be able to think of ways to be happy EVERY SINGLE DAY! Life is too short to spend it being sad or down. I'm no blogger, so I hope that my desire to do this everyday will continue. I know that if we stay positive, and look up in life, anything negative will become a positive experience! With that said..........Let's Smile!

SMILE #1 First Kiss

With the New Year upon us, something that makes me smile is remembering the first time that I was kissed by the man that I now call my Wonderful Husband!  This may be T.M.I, but I truly smile every time I think about it!
We were on a date, it was December 31st, 2009.  He planned to drive around Ogden, UT and look for all the crazies wandering the street.  After jumping from one party to the next, we found ourselves driving in his dads truck right when it turned midnight!  All he did was give me a darn High Five!!!   I was so bugged!  I thought it was going to be the night he would make a move! (besides taking me out on crazy adventurous dates!)  So being pretty annoyed, I made up the excuse that I had a curfew and needed to be home by 1 AM!  When we arrived to my house, he walked me to my door, where we stopped to talk for a bit.  When he saw the 6ft. bank of snow by in our front yard, he came up with the crazy idea to jump in it!  I played along, (not sure why, maybe thinking he would make a move then :) and ......nothing!  I got out of the snow, now freezing, and more annoyed, and I went to give him a  hug goodnight as a nice gesture!  With that hug he picked me up, literally twirled me around, placed me on a step (since he is 1 food higher than me) and he kissed me!  I was the happiest girl!  I couldn't sleep all that night!

Do you have any good new years stories to make someone smile?
